Can't Go Forward While Stuck In Reverse

Life is so simple, yet we complicate it. In the divine order of nature, God fashioned the world and its contents to move forward.....Earth moves forward, days move forward, time moves forward, rain pours forward, waves moves forward.... Almost every content of nature moves FORWARD. Yet you can always find a plethora of humans backtracking and reliving the past. Can you imagine if we put aside shoulda, coulda, wouldas? I believe it was the plan of God that we move in the divine alignment of the pattern in which He created us....FORWARD.

Life happens and we all go through various ups and downs. Learn from those experiences and pressed towards better. For some reason, we often allow our past to dictate our future. He broke your heart so you constantly assumed every other new man will do you the same. You place unfair expectations on the new guy because of what the old guy did.....reliving the past. It's amazing how we assume this pattern of negative and barrier ridden thinking. Children are so pure. A child does not refuse to walk or ride a bike because he or she falls. They try again and again until they master it. However, we grow up and we forget this persistence. 

We fail once and never try again. I once heard a saying that even if you fall on your face, you are still in the forward position. I find it ironic that Phillipians 3:14 reads.....press towards the mark for the prize....things aren't always easy. Dad always said, "Who wants anything easy?" Anybody can have the easy things in life. But the good and valuable things aren't so easy to grasp. But consistency and endurance are key. 

My determination, no matter what, is to move FORWARD. Join me. It's the terrific part of life that God is waiting on us to experience.
